Zella Irene (Beaty) McGaha

Zella Beaty McGaha of Barnett’s Creek Road, Columbia, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Liberty Care Center.  She was 89 years of age.

Born August 11, 1929, in Adair County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Claud and Martha Jane Cleary Beaty.  Zella was a homemaker and member of Barnett’s Creek United Methodist Church.  She was a hard worker and enjoyed working on the family farm.

Survivors include her brother, Carlis (Fern) Beaty of Daleville, Indiana; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Zella was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rollin McGaha, who passed away on January 12, 2019; four brothers, Elmer Beaty, Delmer Beaty, Johnny Beaty, and Jesse Beaty; and three sisters, Adell Dickerson, Anna Pearl Blankenship, and Ada Beaty.

Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 8, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral   Home with Brother Ray Mills officiating.  Burial will follow in Barnett’s Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Saturday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
