Wilma Lou (Lynn) Dempsey

Wilma Dempsey, of Liberty, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Casey County Hospital. She was 75.

Born June 23, 1948, in Casey County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Etta Cochran Lynn. Wilma was a retired Registered Nurse. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

Survivors include her daughters, Treva (and Jonathan) Warrix, Rachel (and Scott) McQueary, and Hope Dempsey; brothers, Jerry and Jackie Lynn; and three grandchildren, Colin, Luke, and Hayden.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Downs; and brothers, Darnell, Johnny, and Joe Lynn.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, October 15, 2023, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Gale Durham officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 2:00PM on Sunday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
