Willie Joe Sowder

Willie Sowder, of Liberty, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, at his home. He was 62.

Born on December 8, 1962, in Eubank, Kentucky, he was a son of Willie Everett Sowder and Lillian Josephine Adams Mills. Willie was an auto body worker. He enjoyed front porch sitting, bird watching, and keeping up with the weather.

Willie is survived by his wife, Letha Dean Sowder of Liberty; step-father, Arnold Mills of Liberty; brothers, Eddie Ray and Steve; sisters, Mary Sue, Darlene, and Bonnie Mae; and his dogs, Cooper, Molly, and Charlie Bob.

No services for Willie will be held at this time.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the Sowder family with final expenses.
