Wanda (Holt) Estes

Wanda Estes, of Burnside, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset.  She was 80 years of age.

Born October 21, 1939, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow and Della Lawhorn Holt.  Wanda was a homemaker. She was also a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Estes of Burnside, whom she wed October 6, 1956; three sons, John Estes of Edgewood, Kentucky, Tony (Liz) Estes of Danville, and Michael Estes of Loveland, Ohio; one daughter, Connie Estes of Burnside; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.  Wanda is also survived by one brother, Gary Holt of Cincinnati, Ohio; and one sister, Shirley Godbey of Cincinnati, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by four brothers, Clifton Holt, Wayne Holt, Donnie Holt, and Larry Holt.

Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Sunday, November 10, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in Middleburg Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Sunday, November 10, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
