Virginia Christine Moore

Virginia Christine Moore, of Lanhamtown, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Jean Waddle Care Center. She was 89.

Christine was born January 2, 1936, to the late Robert E. and Mary Etta Clements Watson.

Christine was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, gardening, working in her flowers and loved spending time with her family. Christine was a member of Valley Oak Baptist Church and a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 30 of Casey County.

Christine is survived by her four daughters, Sherry Druin (and Steven) of Middleburg, Mary Ann Miller (and Randy) of Middleton, FL, Carolyn Carman (and Ricky) of Bethelridge and Pamela Hamm of Bethelridge; seven grandchildren, Kasey, Chuck, Eric, Heather, Kagen, Charley and Savanna; twelve great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kaylee, Myles, Mariah, Jay, Dylan, Brandon, Marlee, Nate, Raelyn, Isaiah and Levi; one great-great-grandchild, Zachary; and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Moore, who passed away December 17, 1997; two brothers, Eugene Watson and Jerry Watson; and six sisters, Lola Witt, Lela Terranova, Evelyn Graham, Ethel Morris, Ivadean Short and Lois Black.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Valley Oak Baptist Church with Bro. Tyler Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Lanhamtown Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon, Dylan, Isaiah, Nate, Eric and Chuck.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Valley Oak Baptist Church, 217 Oak Hill Rd., Liberty, KY 42539.
