Virginia Carole Hurt, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was 93.
Born on September 22, 1932, in Jackson, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Grace Lovett Dawson. Virginia was a homemaker. She loved her family and traveling. She never visited a casino that she didn’t love.
She is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Connie Spicer of Liberty; two sons, Paul D. Hurt of Cedar Springs, MI and Brian (and Carolyn) Hurt of Palmer, MA; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the love of her life, Paul Hurt; her son, Gordon Hurt; her grandson, Christoph er Phillips; and six siblings.
No services will be held at this time.
