Valerie "Cissy" Wethington

Valerie “Cissy” Wethington, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at her son’s home. She was 52.

Born December 18, 1970, in Taylor County, KY, Valerie was the daughter of the late James Patrick and Mable Darlene Mills Wethington. She was a hard worker and enjoyed shopping at Goodwill. Valerie was of the Catholic Faith.

She is survived by her sons, Justin (Scherriden) Cain, of Liberty and Brandon Cain, of Dunnville; her daughter, Miranda Cain, of Lebanon; her brother, Jeremy Wethington; one granddaughter, Jalynne Wells; special nephew, Brennan; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Valerie is preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy Wethington and James “PJ” Mills.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Bro. David Smith will officiate. Burial to follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Cain, Brandon Cain, David Smith, Rickie Patten, Andrew Patten, and Boo Mills.
