Tresia Wethington Martin

Tresia Wethington Martin, of Liberty, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Casey County Hospital.  She was 57.

She was born on July 14, 1968, in Casey County to the late Omer and Beatrice Lane Wethington.  Tresia was a teacher with the Casey County Headstart Program. She loved her family and family was her life. Tresia was an irreplaceable and selfless soul who cared for her family and others.

She is survived by her brothers, William (and late, Sue) Wethington of Indianapolis, IN, Mickey (and Pam) Wethington of Liberty and Jeffrey (and Rhonda) Wethington of Liberty; her special friend, Chris Luttrell; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Tresia is preceded in death by her husband, Chris Martin, whom she wed on October 28, 1994, and passed away in 2020; and her sisters, Judy Lee, Carol Fair and Linda McQueary.

Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Friday, December 19, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. David Hicks officiating.  Burial will follow in the Clearview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brian Lee, Jamie Cox, Heather Luster, Darrell D. McQueary, Nikki Smith, Lacy McCloud, Shannon Wethington and Lindsey McQueary.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00AM to 2:00PM Friday, December 19, 2025, at the funeral home.
