Thomas "Tom" Ryan Hoetger

Thomas Hoetger, of Buchanan, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, May 26, 2024, in Liberty, KY. He was 70.

Born December 16, 1953, in Elkhart, IN, he was a son of the late Thomas Henry Hoetger and Sue Ann Stemm Hoetger. Tom, as known by many, was a sales rep for Servpro. He was also a former accountant. Tom graduated from Hillsdale College with his bachelor’s degree. He played ice hockey and football in college. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his home in Kentucky. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and attending  activities for his grandchildren. Tom was a member of Pine Grove Church.

Survivors include his dear wife, Pam Samonie Hoetger, whom he wed on March 18, 1982; sons, Joshua Thomas (and Hannah) Hoetger and Zachary Ryan (and Jillian) Hoetger; daughter, Cory (and Thomas) Swizek; sister, Beth Ann Hoetger; and eight grandchildren, Gabe, Maddy, Sam, Marc, Vivian, Nora, Henry, and Theo.

At the request of the Hoetger family, cremation rites will be honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. A celebration of life service is planned for a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.mckinneybrown.com.
