Sheila Hatfield, of Dunnville, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Casey County Hospital. She was 71.
Born on July 11, 1952, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Stella Raines Edwards. Sheila was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to church, quilting, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Hatfield; two sons, Chris (Erin) McDonald of Liberty and Nathan McDonald of Columbia; a daughter, Sonya (Ronnie) Crawley of Liberty; five grandchildren, Shawnee, Gabrielle, Tabetha, Jonathan, and Whitney; eight great-grandchildren, Ely, Faith, Brantlee, Freyja, Lilith, Willow, Jordan, and Bryson; brothers, Ruel “Butch” Edwards of Liberty and Jeffrey N. Edwards of Berea; and two sisters, Linda Allen and Hazel Randolph, both of Liberty.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Sasha Dezra Hatfield; two brothers, Roy Edwards and Vernon Thomas Edwards; and a sister, Rose Gilbert.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 15, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Ryan Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
