Shannon Williams

Shannon Williams, of Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Casey County Hospital. She was 66.

Born on February 5, 1960, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late James Carroll Rodgers and Joyce Marie Eads. Shannon was a housekeeper at Casey County Hospital. She had a passion for caring for the elderly. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Shannon enjoyed watching auctions on Facebook.

She is survived by two daughters, Mandy Vannoy and Bekki Joines; a son, Trinity Joines; two sisters, Kay Lee and Brenda Williamson; and two brothers, Mitchell Eads and Gary Rodgers. Other survivors include five grandchildren, Drekken, Jadelyn, Georgia, Annabeth, and Kai.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Ledia Patten and Cleta Marie Rodgers.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Smallwood officiating. Burial will be held privately at Whited Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
