Russell Glen Rodgers, of Liberty, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Grandview Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville. He was 80.
Born July 26, 1943, in Casey County, KY, he was a son of the late Louie and Elsie Emerson Rodgers. Glen retired from Arvin’s in Indiana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking, yard sales, going out to eat, bowling, and ginseng hunting. He formerly attended the Block Pentecostal Holiness Church. Glen was a big Elvis fan.
Survivors include his sister, Ula (and Buddy) Tinsley of Liberty; his companion, Norma Robinson; nieces and nephews, Trinna (Jeff), Timmy (Kim), Kenny, Debbie (Bruce), Jimmy (Danna), Alan, and Beth Ann.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alton Wesley Rodgers and Eurell Rodgers; nieces and nephews, Teresa and Mike Vinson, Randy Rodgers, and Buell Rodgers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the Whited Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-8PM at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
