Robin “Butter” Lawson, of Dunnville, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Casey County Hospital. He was 60.
Born on June 21, 1965, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of Betty Louise Owens Lawson and the late Henry Clay Lawson. Robin worked in the family business of waste management. He enjoyed trap shooting and fishing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Ricky Lawson and Randy (and Joyce) Lawson, both of Dunnville; nephew, Adam Royston; niece, Tosha Royston; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Ridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Owens, Delbert Cundiff, Jr., Clarence Ford, Mike Meeks, Wilford Evans, and Steve Bernard.
