Robert Wayne Durham, of Danville, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024, at his home. He was 53.
He was born January 25, 1971, in Danville, to the late James Larry Durham and Pauline Ponder. Robert was a former deputy jailer and 911 dispatcher for Casey County. He was an artist at heart. He enjoyed drawing, painting, woodworking, working with metal, sculpting, and making jewelry. He loved UK basketball as well.
He is survived by his sons, Blake Durham (and Lydia) and Tanner Durham, both of Yosemite; his grandson, Henry Durham; his brothers, James Durham (and Debbie) of Madisonville and John Durham (and Carla) of Liberty; his sisters, Barbara Wilson (and Richard) of Liberty and Elizabeth Hartman (and Charles) of Mercer County; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 19, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM Thursday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
