Riley Hoskins, of Danville, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at his home. He was 24 years old.
Born on June 30, 2001, in Danville, Kentucky, he was a son of Todd and Tracie Wright Hoskins, of Liberty. Riley was a Casey County High School graduate and a former Region 6 President of FBLA and a local FBLA officer in his senior year. He then graduated from the University of Kentucky in two and a half years with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Riley was employed by Marsh McLennan Agency as a Health Information Associate. He was a member of Creston Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing tennis, snow skiing, and playing cards. He was musically gifted and could play multiple instruments. Riley greatly loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Dakota (and Karey) Hoskins of Liberty; a sister, Linnie Brooke Hoskins of Liberty; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Pauline Wright; and a paternal grandmother, Beverly Hoskins. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Riley is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry Hoskins.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Jeric DeVore and Bro. Philip Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
