Ricky Nelson Bryant, of Kings Mountain, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021, at his home. He was 61.
Born on October 11, 1960, in Casey County, he was the son of the late James and Janie Goode Bryant. Ricky was a machinist at Tarter Industries and a gate hauler. He was also a masonry worker. He was a jokester with a big heart.
He is survived by his significant other, Connie Wesley; a son, Dustin Bryant; a daughter, Tabitha Bryant (Zachary Sexton); a step-son, David (Jen) Wesley; a step-daughter, Kimberly (Eric) Adkins; a sister, Neveda (Gary) Whited; and eight grandchildren, Micah, Marcus, Taylor, Autumn, Logan, Deegan, Conner, and Venna. Other survivors include a niece, Dana Bryant (Jon Gillock); a nephew, Nick (Lindsay) Whited; great-nephews, Spencer and Jonathan Gillock; and a great-niece, Brooklyn Whited.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, John Earl Bryant.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Leonard Guenther officiating. Burial will follow in Fair Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Monday, December 27, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Nick Whited, Jonathan Gillock, Spencer Gillock, Jerry Jones, Greg Coulter, and Jon Gillock. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
