Obituary

  Regenia B. Taylor, age 78, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Liberty Care Center in Liberty.

  Born March 17, 1944, in Casey Co., KY, she was a daughter of the late Curtis and Hazel Brackett Lay. Regenia was a member of the Athens Church of Christ. She enjoyed babysitting her kids and grandkids. Regenia was a homemaker.

  Survivors include her daughter, Robin (and Jeff) Lawless of Russell Springs; son, Michael Taylor of Liberty; sisters, Marcella Coffman of Liberty, Velma Martin of Liberty, Charlene Mathews of Liberty, and Patty (and George) Douglas of Parksville; grandchildren, Alexandria (and Jared) Johnson of Missouri, Joshua (and Felecia) Taylor of Liberty, Ryan (and Mandy) Lawless of Bowling Green, Magan (and Justin) Sullivan of Liberty, and Kayla (and Sam) Marple of Campbellsville; and great-grandchildren, Carter, Kayln, Alyanna, and Tuff.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Phyllis Chadwell; and brother, Sherril Lay.

  Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Jamie Martin and Ryan Lawless officiating. Burial will follow in the South Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30AM until time of services.

  Pallbearers will be Michael, Joshua, and Joe Taylor, Jerry Byrd, Ryan and Jeff Lawless, Jamie Martin, and George Douglas.
