Rebecca Marie Stamper

Rebecca “Becky” Marie Stamper, of Nancy, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023. She was 50.

Born on January 12, 1973, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Glenna Patterson Disney and the late William Leonard Walls. Becky was a people person who enjoyed arts and crafts, fishing, music, and quilting. She loved being a nanny to her grandchildren. She also enjoyed rock-hunting and was truly a free spirit. Becky was a member at Poplar Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Katelyn Stamper; her sister, Deborah Ann Lawson (Mike), of Tampa, Florida; and her two grandchildren, Scarlett Marie and Journey Stamper.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her son, Justin Stamper; stepfather, Ron Disney; and her brother, William Johnny Walls.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 2:00 P.M., at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, with Bro. Barry “Dusty” Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
