Reaner Poynter

Reaner Poynter, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was 73.

Born on January 11, 1949, in Lebanon, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Haley Allen Ragle. Reaner was employed at Fruit of the Loom for thirty years. She was a member of Pine Grove Church. She loved her flowers, shopping, and her dog, Shelby.

She is survived by her son, James Appleby of Liberty; and a half-brother, Bobby of California.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Appleby; and a brother, David Ragle.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 15, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 15, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family of Ms. Poynter with funeral expenses.
