Randall J. Carman Obituary

Randall J. Carman, of Clementsville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, in Danville, KY. He was 91.

Born June 21, 1930, in Westview, KY, he was a son of the late Acie M. and Maurine Allen Carman. Randall was of the Separate Baptist faith. He was a US Army veteran. Randall retired after 30 years from Reynolds Metal Company in Louisville, Kentucky. He also managed a flea market in the Kidd’s store area for five years. Randall enjoyed reading his Bible, singing, hunting, gardening, auctions, and fishing. He loved God and his family more than anything.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Katie Carman; children, Phyllis Joan (Doug) Lally, Michael Wayne Carman, Jeffery Keith (Kim) Thomas, Gary Dean (Edith) Thomas, and Lisa Michelle (Travis) Miracle; grandchildren, Stephanie Lally, Dustin Robertson, Will Perry, Coty Thomas, Alicia Wesley, and Michael Holton, Caleb Thomas, and Nate Thomas; great-grandchildren, Makayla and Travis; siblings, Goldya Carman, Sherman (Carolyn) Carman, Rachel Armes, Lonnie (Jean) Carman, Gayla Carman, and Jerry Conder; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Margaret Pylant, Allean Durpin, Kelsie Carman, David Carman, Karolene Nottingham, Helen Stivers, and Billy Mitchell Carman and also by brothers-in-law, Charles Armes and David Armes.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00PM Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Glenwood Cemetery with Bro. Steve Warner officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard. Visitation will be at 1:30PM Sunday at Glenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gary Thomas, Travis Miracle, Jeff Thomas, Michael Holton, Travis Meeks, Dustin Robertson, and Lorne Luttrell.
