Phillip Edward Collins, 74 of Liberty, Kentucky formerly of Franklin, IN passed away on January 26, 2025.
He was born February 5, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Luther Elliott Collins and Helen Marie (Pettyjohn) Collins. Phillip was a graduate of Franklin (IN) High School.
He was a United States Army Veteran. Phillip had been a truck driver and concrete finisher. He also enjoyed farming on his farm in Liberty, Kentucky. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, photography and carpentry.
Survivors include his sister, Anita Canary of Greenwood, IN and Doris Fleener of Liberty, KY; several nieces and nephews.
Pastor Bill Turner will conduct a graveside service on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 2PM at Greenlawn Cemetery, 100 South Street in Franklin, IN with military honors being conducted by the United States Army Honor Guard and Franklin American Legion Post 205 Honor Guard.
Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling arrangements.
