Pedro "Pete" Antonio Ferrer

Pedro “Pete” Antonio Ferrer, of Liberty, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2026, at his home. He was 70.

Born on October 30, 1955, in Zacatecas, Mexico, he was a son of Ignatia Barrios Ferrer and the late Manuel Ferrer.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Johnson Ferrer, who he wed on December 27, 1993; three sons, Manuel (and Ashley) Ferrer of Augusta, Derrick Ferrer of Liberty, and T.J. (and Samantha) Gadberry of Liberty; two daughters, Jessica (and Doug) Freels of Todd County and Miranda Newcomb of Campbellsville; and eleven grandchildren, Audrey, Everett, Breanna, Hailey, Jayden, Keira, Jeremiah, Autumn, Tatum, Kaiden, and RJ.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

No services will be held at this time.
