Ollie James "O.J." Shouse

Ollie James “O.J.” Shouse, of Liberty, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at his home. He was 73.

He was born January 27, 1951, in Jackson, KY to the late Nathan and Stella Mae Terry Shouse.

O.J. was a D.J. and worked for Liberty Radio, several years ago.  Later, he attended auctioneering school in Florida and became an auctioneer. He enjoyed going to different auctions and loved raising dogs.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Boyd, Roy, Ray and Donnie Wayne Shouse; and a nephew, Larry Shouse.

OJ is survived by his brother, William “Bill” Shouse (and Donna) of Indianapolis, IN; his sister, Mary Ann Benningfield of Campbellsville; his nieces and nephews, Stephen, Patty, Todd, Lester, Lisa, Dan, Steven and Debbie.

Graveside services will be private.

In memory of O.J., memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
