Nina Faye (Overstreet) Cundiff

Nina Faye Cundiff, of Shepherdsville, formerly of Casey County, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Signature Healthcare. She was 75.

Born on February 6, 1948, Nina was the daughter of the late Erastus and Ruby May Byrd Overstreet. On July 1, 1962, Nina married her husband, James Clarence Cundiff. She attended Friends of Faith Church and loved gardening and quilting. She was a caregiver for many children and was very involved with her grandchildren. Nina was a strong-willed, independent woman.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Sharon Faye (Troy) Clardy, Jamie Ann (Rob) Cromer; an estranged daughter, Janice Faye (Craig) Woods; two brothers, Jerry Overstreet and Timmy (Carmela) Overstreet; one sister, Patsy Overstreet (Mark Meredith); 5 grandchildren, Tori, Ronnie, Alex, Isiah, and Ian; and 4 great-grandchildren, Cooper, Harrison, Jett, and Levi.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie Dale Overstreet and Jimmy Ray Overstreet; and one sister, Judy Gay Wilson.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M on Sunday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Salem Cemetery.
