Mildred (Bernard) Rowe

Mildred Rowe, of Shelbyville, IN, formerly of Casey County, KY, passed away on January 6, 2022, at the Heritage House in Shelbyville, IN. She was 94.

Born September 11, 1927, in Casey Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Vester and Mary Shell Bernard. Mildred formerly attended the Thomas Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, bluegrass music, planting and caring for flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Rowe of Liberty and Donald Rowe of Franklin, IN; daughters, Barbara and Sharon Wilson, both of Shelbyville, IN; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Rowe; sons, Gregory and Johnny Rowe; and grandson, Jesse Rowe.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
