Michael Scott Spicer, of Liberty, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Jean Waddle Care Center. He was 73.
Born on December 15, 1952, in Jackson, Michigan, he was a son of the late Donald and Gloria Hoaglin Spicer. Michael was an avid golfer and Michigan Wolverines fan. His greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his great grandbabies.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Spicer; daughter, Tracy Eck; grandson, Matthew (and Destiny) Plouffe; two granddaughters, Christine Eck and Larissa (and Jesse) Kelley; and seven great-grandkids, Kylie, Alaina, Mikaeel, Matthew Jr., Peyton, Noah, and Gracelyn. Other survivors include two sisters, Sharon (and Pat) Spicer and Sandra (and William) Neill; brother, Robert Spicer; a host of nieces and nephews; and his best friend and loyal dog, Rusty.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Larry Spicer.
