Michael Earl Roach, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021, at his residence. He was 65.
Born on June 24, 1955, in Danville, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Richard Roach, Jr. and Gertrude Arlene Hayes. Mike proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Saratoga. He loved music and enjoyed playing guitar.
Mike is survived by a daughter, Jessica Perry of Jacksonville; a brother, Steve (and Renita) Roach of Kings Mtn.; a granddaughter, Nina Bramil; and a special niece, Tabitha (and Tim) Brown of Science Hill.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Michael Roach; and a brother, Gregory Infante.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Grove Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Buel Hayes officiating. Military honors will be performed by the Casey County Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Facial coverings ARE required.
