Matthew Dennison Reese

Matthew Dennison Reese, of Richmond, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the UK Hospital in Lexington. He was 37.

Born February 27, 1986, in Lexington, KY, he is the son of Dennis and Janet Smallwood Reese. Matthew had an immense love for frogs. He enjoyed riding his go-cart and golf cart. He loved mowing grass, particularly on his John-Deere lawnmower.

Survivors include his parents, Dennis and Janet Smallwood Reese; maternal grandmother, Lily Ingram; paternal grandfather, Richard Bostic; and a host of other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, November 24, 2023, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. James Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowmer Cemetery in Casey County. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
