Mary Elizabeth "Jackie" (Thomas) Goode

Mary Elizabeth “Jackie” Goode, of Sanders Ridge Road in Adair County, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, in Adair County. She was 89.

Born April 3, 1935, in Robbins Chapel, VA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Zella Robbins Thomas. Jackie was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Liberty Chapter #30. She formerly volunteered at Liberty Care Center. Jackie enjoyed working word search and crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her sons, Mickey (and Anita) Goode and David (and Janice) Goode; brother, Gary Thomas; sisters, Brenda Kilgore, Tillie Yvonne Aguiar, and Carol Louise Komeylian; 3 grandchildren, Amy, Kelly, and Amanda; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 1 step-grandson; and 1 step-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virl Goode, who died January 21, 2021; brothers, Walter, Patrick, and Johnny Thomas; and sister, Judy Ann May.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon EST Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in the Pellyton Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00AM until 12:00 Noon at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Aden, Quinten, Kelly, Kemp, Braden, and Dakota.
