Mary Louise Evans

Mary Louise Evans, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, having attained the age of 80.

Born on May 26, 1937, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mayme Rubarts Spielburger. Mary was retired from Liberty Sportswear. She was a member of Green River Valley Separate Baptist Church. She loved UK basketball, her friends and family, and caring for others.

Ms. Evans is survived by four daughters, Carolyn (Joey) Murphy of Winchester, Kernetta (Greg) Evans of Dunnville, Karen Sue (Steve) Lynch of Dunnville and Sherry (Barry) Mullins of Stanford; four grandchildren, Kelly, Paul, Jeremy and Clint; and two great-grandchildren, Noah, Elijah, Chaz and Jake.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by a son, Larry Evans; and two sisters, Wanda Hale and Joyce Grider.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Green River Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
