Mark Lawless

Mark Lawless, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.  He was 62 years of age.

Born February 22, 1958, in Champaign, Illinois, he was a son of the late Charlie Green and Dorothy Warner Lawless. Mark was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and was a certified scuba diver. He previously worked as a boat mechanic at the State Dock and Ace Hardware.

Survivors include two sons, Timmy Edward Lawless of Russell Springs and Charles Bradley Lawless of Liberty; and four daughters, Jill Marie Herron of Columbia, Edith Fay Foley of South Carolina, Ashley Nichole Lawless of Liberty, and Jessica Dawn Franklin of Russell Springs. Mark is also survived by five grandchildren; and two brothers, Danny Lawless of South Carolina and Steve Lawless of Illinois.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Beck Lawless, who passed away October 5, 2017; and one sister, Juanita Woods.

Visitation will be private for family only. Graveside funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2020, at Caney Fork Cemetery with Brother Gary Buckles officiating. Burial will follow the service in Caney Fork Cemetery.

In accordance to the regulations set forth by our Governor and the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky, attendees at outdoor services must maintain the six feet of social distance, if they are not of the same household. Attendees are encouraged to wear face coverings while attending services.
