Marcille Wilkerson

Marcille Wilkerson, of Dunnville, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at her home. She was 91.

Born on June 12, 1929, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie Childress Luttrell. Marcille was a homemaker. She was one of the oldest living members of Thomas Ridge Christian Church. She loved singing at church. Marcille lived in the Thomas Ridge area most of her life. She enjoyed farming with her husband.

She is survived by a daughter, Connie (Ronald) Lee of Indianapolis, Indiana; a son, Dennis (Karrell) Wilkerson of Liberty; a daughter in law, Jo Wilkerson of Fairfield, Ohio; five grandchildren, Michelle, Kimberly, Jonathan, Kelly, and Jamie; fourteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Other survivors include two sisters, Odean Clements of Ohio and Versie Terry of Dunnville; a brother, Sherill Luttrell of Florida; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Wilkerson, who passed away on December 10, 2001; a son, Danny Wilkerson; two sisters, Lorene Monday and Lois Emerson; and two brothers, Arlis Luttrell and Donald Luttrell.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 23, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Please enter through the front doors (Campbellsville Street side) of the funeral home when you arrive to the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings ARE required. 

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Wilkerson, Jamie Wilkerson, Kimberly Murphy, Kelly Crawford, Wendell Emerson, Kent Emerson, Michelle Daulton, and Kelsey Lee.
