Mae (Scott) Richardson

Mae Scott Richardson of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Bluegrass Hospice Center in Lexington.  She was 73 years of age.

Born September 14, 1944 in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Lela Allen Scott.  Mae loved knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include two daughters, Connie (C.D.) Hale and Patty Brown, both of Liberty; four grandchildren, Brandon Hale, Felicia Luttrell, Justin Brown, and Jordan Hale; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gilbert (Shirlene) Scott of Union, Kentucky, Thelbert Scott of Attica, Indiana; and two sisters, Cora Ellen Hayes of Liberty, and Louvenia Stafford of Ohio. 

In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by a brother, Oral Scott; a sister, Marie Webster; and several other brothers and sisters.

Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 21, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery.

 Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home.
