Mack Hicks, Jr.

Mack Hicks, of Liberty, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, at Casey County Hospital.  He was 91.

He was born October 4, 1934, in Bowlington, KY, to the late Mack Hicks, Sr. and Rebecca Bowling Hicks.

Mack worked many years at a sawmill and grading lumber. He worked with cattle and loved to be outdoors.  He enjoyed the companionship of his dogs.

He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews; a special niece, Rachel Hicks Bolin; his sister-in-law, Laura Hicks (and the late, Noel Hicks); and special friends, Bryan Grider and the Griffith family.

Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Monday, March 16, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Burton officiating.  Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Grider, Cameron Griffith, Carl Griffith, Ryan Griffith, Phillip Andrews and Ben Scott.

Family will receive visitors from 11:00AM to 2:00PM on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
