Lorene Allen

Lorene Allen, of Dunnville, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Casey County Hospital. She was 94.

Born on September 17, 1930, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late John and Bertha Lewallen Woods. Lorene was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, flowers, gardening, and canning food for her family.

She is survived by a son, Neal Allen of Dunnville; a daughter, Charlene West of Dunnville; ten grandchildren, Stacey, Stephanie, Scott, Casey, Andrew, Alexis, Mason, Marcel, Domonic, and Lucas; and five great-grandchildren, Myla, Myles, Cooper, Ashton, and Jamie.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thad Allen, who passed away on May 24, 2020; a son, Ronald Allen; a grandson, Andrew Allen; four brothers, Elmer Woods, Cleo Woods, Arthur Woods, and Clyde Woods; and three sisters, Lillie Overstreet, Irene Pennington, and Margie Norman.

No services will be held at this time.
