Linda Sue (Wethington) McQueary

Linda Sue Wethington McQueary, of Liberty, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025, at her home.  She was 60.

She was born on March 23, 1965, in Casey County, KY to the late Omer and Beatrice Lane Wethington. Linda loved to sew and was a former employee of Stitch Kentucky, Inc. Linda loved to spend time on her back porch with friends, enjoyed working in her garden and shopping.

Linda is survived by her husband, Darrell Ray McQueary of Liberty, whom she married on March 19, 1982; her son, Darrell Dewayne McQueary of Liberty; her daughter, Lindsey Brooke McQueary (and Amber) of Liberty; her brothers, William Wethington, Mickey (and Pam) Wethington and Jeffrey (and Rhonda) Wethington; her sister, Tresia Martin; her grandson, Christian Gage McQueary, in addition to seven other grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by her sisters, Judy Lee and Carol Fair.

Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Clearview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00PM to 2:00PM on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
