Lester E. Luttrell, of Windsor, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at University of Kentucky Hospital. He was 69.
Born on July 25, 1956, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was the son of Dollie Turpin Luttrell and the late Earl Luttrell. Lester was a dedicated farmer and worked at Tecumseh for twenty-seven years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Gloria Rodgers Luttrell, who he wed on February 15, 1975; a daughter, Kim (and Albert) Kane of Windsor; a granddaughter, Lexi (and Mason) Pyles of Columbia; and a great-granddaughter, Vivian Mae Pyles. Additional survivors include special cousins: Barry, Larry, and Bruce Johnson, and Wanda Stephens.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Richard West officiating. Burial will follow in Bowmer Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 8, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Barry Johnson, Larry Johnson, Bruce Johnson, Albert Kane, Mason Pyles, Brandon Johnson, Dustin Johnson, Baron Johnson, and Derek Stephens.
