Lena (Singleton) Montgomery

Lena Montgomery, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at the Berea Health and Rehab in Berea, KY. She was 77.

Born November 12, 1947, in Casey County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Alma Martin Singleton. Lena was a homemaker. She loved her pet dogs, flowers, and gardening. Lena missed her late husband dearly, Paul J. Montgomery, who passed July 19, 2015.

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa (and Bryan) Gonterman; son, Douglas (and Tammy) Montgomery; sisters, Iva Dean Patterson and Goldie Rowland; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Lena is preceded in death by a great-grandson; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Cremation rites were honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. No services are scheduled at this time.
