Leland Lee

Leland Lee, of Dunnville, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was 74.

He was born August 3, 1951, in Casey County, KY, to the late Tholet Franklin and Jewell Mae Harrison Lee. Leland was a former traveling salesman, selling automotive parts for Town and Country Ford and Commonwealth Dodge. He was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.

Leland loved to sell produce, watermelon, cantaloupe and apples out of his pickup truck.  He was a socialite and loved talking to people anywhere he could.

Leland is survived by his loving wife, Carol Napper Lee of Dunnville, whom he married on December 24, 1971; his sons, Gene Lee (and Lisa) of Gravel Switch and Joseph Lee (and Mistie) of Campbellsville; his daughter, Traci Thomas (and Ronnie) of Liberty; his brothers, Ray Lee (and Carolyn) and Charles Lee (and Barbara); his sisters, Ina Ellis, Linda Evans (and Winfrey) and Leveta Burns (and Mike); his sisters-in-law, Jewell Lee, Margie Lee and Kay Lee; his grandchildren, Emily Lee, Casieus Thomas, Abigayle Lee, Ethan Lee, Elijah Lee and Katelyn Thomas; his great grandchildren, Trenton and Kinslee Miles; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil, Lowell, Vernon, Ricky and Greg Lee; and his sister, Norma Lockhard.

Funeral services will be 1:00PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Luttrell officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the funeral home.
