Judy Gay Brown Price, of Liberty, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, in Casey County. She was 81.
Born on October 4, 1942, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Russell Wesley and Ova Lee Brown. Judy was a homemaker. She was a member of Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Price of Liberty, who she wed on June 18, 1960; a son, Jimmy Price of Liberty; a daughter, Katrina Price of Liberty; a granddaughter, Autumn (Brandon) Fair; and three great-grandchildren, Bransen, Ava Jo, and Ada. Other survivors include a brother, Boyd (Judy) Brown of Liberty; a sister, Shirley (Ed) Reed of Liberty; and a sister-in-law, Louise Day of Stanford.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Brown; and a sister, Evelyn (the late George) Reed.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, May 27, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Bailey and Bro. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will be held in Caney Fork Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Monday, May 27, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
