Joyce Ellen Lawson

Joyce Ellen Lawson, of Lexington, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at her home. She was 52.

Born on November 11, 1970, in Lexington, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Norman E. and Rose Richardson Noel. Joyce loved her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by two sons, Roman (Alicia) Noel and Clemente (Roberto Torres-Rodriguez) Noel; two daughters, Lisa (Teodoro Castro-Atilano) Lawson and Nikkie (Enqrique Diaz-Sanchez) Russell; three brothers, Glenn Noel, Bobby Noel, and Anthony Noel; a sister, Nancy Gill; an adopted sister, Doris Glover; and nine grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Albert Noel; and a sister, Joyce Smith.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. on 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
