Joseph David "Joe" Asbery

Joseph David “Joe” Asbery, of Hustonville, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, in Danville, KY. He was 33.

Born October 17, 1991, in Danville, KY, he was a son of Judy Barnett Asbery and the late William Lee Asbery. Joe formerly attended Hustonville Baptist Church. He was a 2010 Lincoln County High School graduate. Joe enjoyed tinkering with cars and just about anything. He was a former diesel mechanic.

Survivors include his mother, Judy Barnett Asbery (and Jeffery Galloway) of Hustonville; aunt, Mary Barnett of Somerset; cousin, Cyrus Barnett of Somerset; a very special momma, “Momma” Gayle Turpin of Hustonville; special daughter, Kyndra Turpin; and special son, Joey Preston.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Pittman officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00PM – 2:00PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
