Jonathon Kelly Luttrell

Jonathon Kelly Luttrell, of Liberty, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at his home. He was 57.

Born on July 4, 1967, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of Nancy Poff Luttrell and the late James Roy Luttrell. Jonathon never met a stranger and he loved to talk. He was a great welder and he enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his twin sons, John Tracy and Travis Allan Luttrell; and his sister, Julie Ann Luttrell.

He is survived by sons, Barry (Lindsey) Luttrell of Louisa and Patrick Luttrell of Liberty; daughters, LuAnn Luttrell, Brooklyn Spears Luttrell, Jessica (Cory) Hewitt, and Alyssa Luttrell, all of Liberty; grandchildren, Keidan, Brynna, Evie, Brionna, Johnny, Ariyah, Demarcus, Bryson, Paisley, Colden, Mailee, and Lucas. Other survivors include brothers, Kevin (Donita) Luttrell, Kent (Jennifer) Luttrell, and Joel Luttrell, all of Liberty; and sisters, Angie (Todd) Carman of Liberty, Amanda (Joey) Marples of Liberty, Anissa (Glen) Edwards of Liberty, Alesha (Rob) Hundley of Liberty, and Andita (Joseph) Morgan of Lancaster.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Edwards and Bro. Billy Hewitt officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Jeremy Luttrell, Nathan Luttrell, Barry Luttrell, Dustin Miller, Cory Hewitt, Devron Sweet, Brendon Patten, Brandon Richards, Danny Carman, and Joey Marples will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 20, 2024, and from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist in offsetting funeral expenses.
