John D. Allen

John D. “Johnnie” Allen, of Fruitland Park, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at his home. He was 101 years old.

Born on August 25, 1922, in Liberty, Kentucky, he was a son of Octavus and Cora Peck Allen. Johnnie was a hard worker and a child of God.

Survivors include a son, John M. Allen of Fruitland Park, FL; daughters, Chrystal (David T.) Bourff of Meridian, Idaho, Deborah K. Lee of Gallatin, TN, Dena Hope of Liberty, and Cheryl Williams; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Madge Marcum Allen, who passed away on December 31, 2007; and numerous siblings.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Allen Cemetery.
