Jesse D. Douglas

Jesse D. Douglas, of Liberty, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.  He was 49.

He was born on April 13, 1976, in Liberty, KY to Alice Chumbley Douglas and the late Ronald Lee Morgan.  Jesse worked as a lumber stacker for Wolford and Wethington Sawmill.  He loved going to the county fair and would try to go each night. He enjoyed the demolition derbies and the truck pulls. Jesse was an avid fisherman.

Jesse is survived by his mother, Alice Chumbley Douglas of Liberty; his brother, Jason Douglas of Liberty; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father, Ronald Lee Morgan, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elva Lee and Ruby Belle Chumbley and his paternal grandparents, Lonzo Junior and Mabel Hoskins Morgan.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Willow Springs Cemetery with Bro. Adam Cain officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
