Janie Irene (Overstreet) Kincaid

Janie Irene Overstreet Kincaid, of Frankfort, KY, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Baptist Health in Lexington, KY. She was 74.

Born June 1, 1951, in Casey County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Ruth Mason Overstreet. Mrs. Kincaid retired after over 20 years as a caretaker at Beehive Nursing Home. She enjoyed collecting dolls, shopping, and thrifting. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her sons, Daniel R. (and Darla) Hoagland, III of Frankfort and Justin E. (and Amanda) Smith of Harrodsburg; daughters, Martha J. Hoagland and Heather R. Smith, both of Frankfort; brother, Ronald Overstreet of Frankfort; sister, Judy Kelly of Frankfort; 10 grandchildren, Daniel R. Hoagland, IV, Amanda Bailey, Bryan Jett, Timothy Bailey, Austin Hoagland, Ethan Smith, Darion Maxberry, Tristan Maxberry, Aubrey Smith, and Brodey Smith; and 6 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Maci, Elias, Lucas, Olivia, and Quinnten.

She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Daniel Richard Hoagland, Jr. and Kenny Wayne Kincaid and her brother, Roger Overstreet.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Patillo officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until 1:00PM on Wednesday.
