J.B. Akers Obituary

J.B. Akers, of Rockwood, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. He was 80 years old.

Born February 10, 1943, in Casey County, Kentucky, J.B. was the son of the late Dallas Dewitt and Minnie Trammell Akers. He was a retired chemist.

He is survived by his daughter, Leeann Isham; his sisters, Beatrice Ann Cleary and Mae Tankersly; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, William Aldon Akers.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
