Irene Gillespie Obituary

Irene Rena Disney Gillespie, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. She was 65.

She was born on June 19, 1960, in Knoxville, TN to the late Henry and Georgia Phillips Disney. She was a retired seamstress.

She is survived by three sons, Eddie Reynolds of Joplin, MO, Paul Gibson of Joplin, MO and David Disney of Des Moines, IA; a brother, Doyle Disney of Oliver Springs, TN; and six grandchildren.

A private burial was held on April 1, 2026, at Glenwood Cemetery.
