Herlin Floyd Gillock

Herlin Floyd Gillock, of Liberty, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, at his home.  He was 74.

Herlin was born on June 26, 1950, in Casey County to the late Floyd Herron Gillock and Olavine Hadley Gillock.  He spent many years in Florida and was a former resort groundskeeper in Key West.

He is survived by his son, Jamie Gillock and his wife, Jennetta of Donavan, MO; his daughter, Shelly Allen of Chicago, IL; his sister, Wilma Owens of Fort Myers, FL; four grandchildren; a special friend, Shane Paskiewicz of Liberty; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Herlin is preceded in death by his wives, Barbara and Pat; his brothers, Hollis, Shirl, Larry and Dean Gillock; and his sisters, Shirley Shoopman, Vina Marx and Mae Elliot.

Cremation rites were chosen. There will be a graveside service at Clearview Cemetery, at a later date.
