Gary Floyd

Gary Floyd, of Mintonville, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at his home. He was 71.

Born January 26, 1950, in Pulaski Co., KY, he was a son of the late Carlos and Morine Jasper Floyd. Gary was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Mintonville Masonic Lodge #392 and the Craftsman Masonic Lodge #722. He was also a member of the Egypt Shriners Organization in Tampa, FL. Gary was a member of the Green River Christian Church.

Survivors include his brother, Wayne Floyd of Fruitland Park, FL; sister, Joyce Russell of Mt. Washington; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Freddy and Carlos “C.B.” Floyd; sister-in-law, Betty Floyd; and brother-in-law, Russ Russell.

Masonic funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the Mintonville United Methodist Church. There will be a visitation after 2:00PM on Tuesday at the Church. Burial will follow in the Mintonville Cemetery.
